Oil Spill
I've been watch a lot videos on this oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. There are people saying this is huge and will cause many people to leave the area.
This BP oil spill will last a very long time. Years and years. It will effect the economic by causing lots of people to lose their jobs. Like people who make a living fishing.

Gold prices
Gold went up this week. It has touch the $1250 an oz this week. That is an all time high.
As the dollar crashes the price of Gold will go up and up. I think it will hit $1500 by the end of the year.
